1 Corinthians 9:25-27 “All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.” (NLT)

Chocolate Peanut Butter Yum!!!
This is one yummy snack that I make QUITE often and usually in a double batch!
I got this from a Carb-Lovers Diet:
3/4 cup of old fashioned oatmeal (I use more)
1/4 cup of semi-sweet choc chips
2 tbls milk
2 tbls p'butter (I use organic or natural p'butter-no HFCS)
Melt everything except the oatmeal-Kinda like you are making rice crispy treats....
Take it off the heat then pour in the oatmeal. Mix well and then spoon out on to wax paper in dollops or scoop some in a muffin tin. I usually stick it in the freezer and keep them cold for a yummy cool snack.
The kids love them! (Me too!!!)

I am soooo excited about you doing this blog!!!
ReplyDeleteI am too! I can't believe I have finally committed to it! I've needed to do this for a long time. It took me a year of running to finally subscribe to Runner's Magazine. I didn't really think I was a runner before that...haha. I'm going to try to pull as much of my facebook info as I can and put it on here too. Even if its just me that keeps track of it...it will still be well worth it!
ReplyDeleteLove it--needing all the inspiration I can get :)) So proud of u!
