Tonight I snacked on a bowl of homemade granola (Almond Butter and honey granola), milk and dried cranberries. I've found I need a little something before bed. I know its best to not have carbs later at night but I just haven't been able to let go of not having a full belly as I get ready for sleep. I usually will limit my carbs at supper so I can indulge a little before bed.
Chad and I watched more of the Special Extended version of Lord of the Rings...I loved Sam's monologue at the end of this one:
Sam: “It’s
like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered.
Full of darkness and danger, they were. . . . Those were the stories
that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too
small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand.
. . . There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it’s worth
fighting for.”
